Golden Hill Inn-Danbury

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the comfy bed with USB ports and the clean, inviting decor. However, the lack of an iron was a bit surprising.

Incredibly clean hotel. The room was very comfortable and there was a fridge and a microwave in the room as well, which was nice. It was also very quiet and convenient.

Although we got a non-smoking room, our room smelled of smoke even if we opened the windows.

Too basic for the money. Poor lighting, uncomfortable bedding, Poor heating, too few amenities for the money.

Ideal for a budget stay

Had a commanding view from my room, excellent! The management was on-site.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but considering the location, it was still acceptable.

The room was spacious , clean and comfortable.

The lady at the desk was less than welcoming and reluctant to let us in to our room before our "check in " time even though it was hot and we were traveling by motorbike , room was ready.

Newly decorated and a nice size room, PLEASANT staff, I liked it. The location was comfy - within short walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go.

Needs more soundproofing against highway noise!!! Providing personal care items like shampoo could enhance the experience!!! Insufficient lighting options in the room leave much to be desired!!! Consider adding more wastebaskets!!!

Clean, really beautiful nice room (which I saw on the pic on a site), flat screen TB, beautiful bed spread, free Wifi, fridge and microwave, quiet, no noise from neighbors. Overall, awesome!

Nothing that I can really think of. Maybe a little later checkout time would be nice? 12pm instead of 11? but 11 is pretty standard so whatever.

We are very disappointed about TV. It has no closed caption. The reason for this because we are deaf couple. It should not let it happened without closed caption.

The Golden Hill Inn-Danbury offers a newly renovated, clean, and spacious room that was both comfortable and quiet. Parking is conveniently located right outside the unit, and check-in was efficient. The free WiFi worked seamlessly, and I appreciated the proximity to various shopping and dining options in the area.

The bathroom window did not lock, raising safety concerns.

Entrance and exit driveways are extremely steep and empty on to a very bust street near an intersection. I would not use this facility during the winter.

Location price

No coffee maker. Missing tissues. No apparent way to lower heating.

The motel offers a commanding view of the area.

The bathroom window neither closed nor locked.

Limited parking in front of your room Only 6 parking space! You have to walk from the upper parking lot to your room . No instructions how to operate the Infinity remote and I am pretty savvy with electronic ,No writing paper or pen

Great views and clean rooms, but the tub was quite slippery.
